They didn't want users to DM anymore. I think I might know some reasons on why they removed it. Well first, I think you couldn't report any posts in DMs that violated rules, so if someone posted something bad you couldn't report it unless you had pics & shared it to there Discord. Also, people could have been E-dating with out moderation or anyone else knowing. Users can get away with that.
