    Sadly, I didn't had the N64 version. I grew up with the DS version. But it's not bad at all. I actually don't feel bad about it. And if you ask me, even though I have both versions now (and completed them 100%), I still prefer the DS version all the way. For me, the DS version is more nostalgic to me, especially when I'm also including the minigames.

    I prefer the N64 version over the DS version for similar reasons, It's the version I grew up with. Beause I played the original for most of my life, is kinda hard for me to get used with the different controls and stars, and also starting the game with Yoshi and not Mario feels kinda unnatural for me lol. The minigames are really good, though I got to play them for the first time in New SMB.
