should i get a 3DS? the last time i got one it broke and had so many software errors, the bootrom error, and red light error, i bought it in really good condition, but after a while, like when i was in Meijer, it shut down with the red light error and it all went downhill from there, so idk, should I? and any tips?

    It's when the boot.firm file on both the SD and the console is corrupted, and in extreme cases, the corrupted files after you replace them with a new version will recorrupt. This is what I had and it would not work even when I replaced the file on both the SD and the Console.
